We’re inviting young and prospering chemists!

For the 18th time, we invite you to participate in the International Congress of Young Chemists, a conference organized by a group of young scientists passionate about chemical sciences. The event is addressed to all people beginning their scientific careers who want to share their interesting research with the world. The first edition of the event was held in Zakopane in 2003 and brought together participants from six European countries (Poland, Sweden, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, Latvia). With each successive edition, “YoungChem” gained more and more international recognition, going beyond the borders of Europe and bringing together speakers from all over the world. In all the years of the conference, we have hosted such distinguished scientists as Prof. Ben Fering, awarded the 2016 Nobel Prize for the design and synthesis of molecular machines together with Prof. Jean-Pierre Sauvage and Prof. Fraser Stoddart. Prof. Victor Kartsev and his association “International Scientific Partnership Foundation” in 2017 decided to award the “YoungChem” conference with the Memorial Silver Medal. The conference was held in many places in Poland, for example, in Lublin, Szczecin and Krakow. This year we are pleased to invite you to Dźwirzyno, a picturesque town located on the Baltic Sea.

During the conference, participants have the chance to present their research findings in both an oral presentation and a poster session. It is a four-day event during which researchers can exchange experiences and advice, helpful for future scientific work. Also, it is an opportunity to integrate the young scientific community, which can result in new collaborations and innovative projects. In addition, the event includes activities that allow participants to take a break from their daily duties.
