Student Chemical Society/Chemiczne Koło Naukowe FLOGISTON
Flogiston is an organization of students of the Warsaw University of Technology. Our passion is chemistry and for many years, we have been working to popularize science and expand knowledge. We organize chemistry shows and workshops, proving that chemistry doesn’t have to be boring. We are frequent guests at the largest science festivals, such as the Science Picnic organized by the Centrum Nauki Kopernik in Warsaw and „MOC Odkrywców” organized by Rzeszów University of Technology. In 2023, we won 1st place at the National Festival of Chemistry Shows in Toruń. We also organize seminars, where each of us can present ours own scientific research. We also carry out many scientific projects in our laboratory. Last year we organised 18th edition of International Congress of Young Chemists „YoungChem”, which was mainly focused on creating a space in which students, postgarduates and young doctors could get a chance to present their scientific research and forge valuable business contacts.
